Waiting for dinner

It’s hazy these days. The sand blows. And blows some more.

It leaves a fine layer of dust everywhere, inside and out.

And so we wait for the cannon blast signaling sundown and eating/drinking can resume. Ramadan is an interesting time to be here.

We went to the Grand Mosque today…so intriguing. I even got to wear a burka. (Pictures to come later.) We learned that Mary became pregnant with Jesus by the angel blowing up her sleeve. Amazing.
